Our mission is to help women in recovery find peace, healing and strength through stillness and movement in nature.
Our practice is based in Ecotherapy.
Ecotherapy, or nature therapy, helps prevent and treat both physical and psychological
ailments by reestablishing a strong connection with the natural world.
Research shows that by increasing our time spent in nature, we can reduce the likelihood or frequency of ADHD, PTSD, aggression, anxiety, mental fatigue and stress.
Mother nature is extraordinary.
Whether it be the beneficial chemicals that trees emit or the wonders of vitamin D; the healing properties found in nature are vast, underrated and necessary for optimal health.
"The broadest, and maybe the most meaningful definition of volunteering: Doing more than you have to because you want to, in a cause you consider good.” – Ivan Scheier
